Our conservation expertise ranges from the sensitive repair of scheduled ancient monuments, historic and listed buildings, to the remodelling of more recent structures.
Our portfolio includes theatres, places of worship, hotels, residential buildings, offices, museums, factory buildings and even iconic stage structures. This wide range of sectors brings different design requirements, construction methods and structural issues, all reliant on the diagnostic and practical skills of conservation.
We undertake detailed surveys to establish existing load paths and to determine the range of options for a building’s repair, adaptation or extension. We understand historic construction methods recognisning failures and potential problems.
We work with English Heritage and the National Trust, both as part of larger design teams and through direct single appointment.
