Created to benefit two football teams as well as the local community, the state-of-the-art sports facilities at Creasey Park include eight new grass pitches, a flood-lit, third generation (3G) artificial grass pitch, car park and a flexible-use, new pavilion building.
Created on a tight budget, the steel-framed pavilion uses simple techniques to great effect. Its sliding partitions can divide the large hall into three rooms for flexible use. The external cladding incorporates an anti-vandal, aluminium-sinusoidal profile. This is combined with western red cedar at the front and sides, and cedar facing the pitch.
