Harrow School

Momentum have been working closely with the Estates office at Harrow school since 2014, providing support on a huge range of different projects.

Projects have included extensions to two listed boarding houses, repairs and alterations to listed buildings, conversion of existing building into offices, extension and refurbishment of modern offices, design of new mezzanine structures in existing listed buildings, repair and design of external retaining walls, input into landscaping and sewer diversions, refurbishment of historic sports facilities, design of lintels, surveys and specifications of opening up works and temporary works design and the design of new Sports and Science buildings.

The Sports Building provides new sports halls, main and learner swimming pools, a climbing wall, a fitness and performance suite, multi-purpose classrooms and extensive changing facilities which serve both inside and outside sports.

The Science Building provides laboratories for chemistry and biology alongside a lecture theatre. The building also houses the scheme’s energy centre which contributes to the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ target.
