Natalie Quinn . MEng PhD CEng MICE

Natalie joined Momentum in 2015 and is an Associate in the London office.
A Conservation Accredited Engineer and Member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), Natalie has a particular passion for heritage and the reuse of existing buildings, with experience spanning listed buildings, community spaces, theatres, museums and education. 

 

Since joining Momentum, Natalie has led the structural engineering on a number of significant heritage projects including the award-winning renovation of Ely Museum and the refurbishment of Paignton Picture House in Devon. She has a broader commitment to community-led projects where social value and sustainability are at the heart of the brief. 

 

Before joining Momentum, Natalie completed a PhD in Earthquake Engineering, developing a procedure for the seismic assessment of historic buildings in timber and masonry, a specialism that continues to inform her sensitive and considered approach to heritage structures.

 

In her spare time Natalie enjoys hanging upside down at the circus.
