Pat Faulkner . MEng

Pat joined Momentum in 2025 as a graduate engineer after completing Architectural Engineering at Loughborough University. With a strong interest in sustainable and innovative structural solutions, he is particularly passionate about timber design, especially glulam structures.

His final-year thesis experimentally analysed how moisture affects the structural capacity of glulam, an expertise he aims to advance professionally.

Originally from rural Devon, Pat’s connection to nature shapes both his lifestyle and design outlook. An endurance athlete and triathlete, he commutes by bike from Bristol to Bath and has bike-packed 900km across the UK. He also enjoys cooking with seasonal, healthy ingredients.
