For SS22 Momentum worked with ES Global and architect Smiljan Radić on the engineering design and installation of a light, transparent interior space inside a 26-metre diameter bubble for The Alexander McQueen SS22 fashion show that took place on a roof in Tobacco Docks Yellow Park in East London
The gently pressurised bubble was held in place by a net of cables fixed to a ring-beam on the ground. The structure was fully demountable and used a year later, for the brand’s SS23 show on the banks of the Thames, in front of the Royal Naval College in Greenwich.
