Manor Development Company run an enterprise centre in a deprived area of Sheffield.
Having outgrown their existing facilities, and with a large waiting list, they embarked upon the construction of a new building housing workshop, office and community spaces.
The building is partially cut into the sloping site and has a exposed concrete lower floors housing the heavier functions with the upper floor constructed from timber frame where loads are lighter.
A 10m span bridge provides vehicle and pedestrian access to the new building.
